Provide companionship by safely assisting clients with daily personal care and tasks such as bathing, toileting, light housekeeping, grocery, meal prep, and outings.

Deliver care plans using a tailored approach to the needs of individual families. Assessing, implementing decision-making interventions, medication administration, educating, and providing pre- and post-operation care are some of the responsibilities this position entails.

Interview and examine patients with breathing and lung disorders. Educate on the use of oxygen and breathing devices. Promote healthy practices to encourage better health outcomes.

Teach patients how to manage their physical conditions through therapeutic treatment techniques that aid in the promotion of pain relief and normal function and to prevent further disability.

Assess speech and communication skills to create an individualized care plan. Compassionate care and excellent communication skills needed to offer care for those with speech impairments caused by an injury or illness.    

Treat individuals who are injured, ill, or disabled to participate in daily living to its fullest by promoting good health and restoration and through the prevention of further injury.
